The Jordanian authorities have prohibited the publication of any information regarding the rift within the Kingdom of Jordan. This ban was ordered after it was revealed that the former Crown Prince of Jordan, Prince Hamzah bin Hussein, who is also the half-brother of King Abndullah II, was involved in a plot to destabilize Jordan's security.
As reported by katakita, this ban was announced by the attorney general of the capital of Aman, Hassan al-Abdallat, in a statement at local time. "In order to maintain the security service's investigation of Prince Hamza and other confidentiality, (it was decided) to prohibit any publication related to the investigation at this stage," Al-Abdallat said in a statement.

"The publication prohibition involves all audiovisual media and social networks, as well as the publication of all photos or video clips relating to this subject in connection with legal action.
This prohibition was released by Prince Hamzah, who is known to be very critical of the Jordan rule, declaring an oath of allegiance to King Abullah II during the local night, or two days after being placed under house arrest.
The Jordanian government demands Prince Hamzan plot an "evil" plot and engage in a sedition conspiracy to destabilize the kingdom's security. "The 41-year-old Prince Hamzah initially insisted he would fight back and insisted he would not obey orders to limit his movement. But to ease tensions, Prince Hamzah recently declared support for King Abdullah II.

"I will remain true to my ancestral heritage, walk their path, be true to their path and their message to His Majesty," Prince Hamza said in a written statement quoted from the Royal Palace of Jordan. "I will always be ready to build and support His Majesty the King and his son crown," said Telisik.
Previously, Prince HamzaH, who was stripped of the title of Crown Prince of Jordan by King Abdullah II in 2004, denied having committed a conspiracy, but demanded that the Jordanian leaders were unable to run the government and commit corruption.
